In this list, I am only going to share with you the top three pairs of goggles that are best for children 10 & Up, and for good reason. Many companies are always coming out with the “latest and greatest” pair of swim goggles but they are all getting increasingly more expensive over time.
If your swimmer is only going to a few practices per week or if they only need goggles to play in the pool during the summer, the goggles listed below are perfectly suitable for them.
If they are a more competitive swimmer and go to practice every day then the best pair of competition swim goggles (hyperlink) can be found here. You will actually notice that some goggles listed here are also listed in the competition post since these goggles are very versatile and comfortable for any type of use.
Speedo Speed Sockets 2.0
The absolute best goggles hands down (in my opinion… and many Olympic swimmers… but I won’t get into that).
These polarized goggles are your perfect “swim sunglasses” that protect your eyes from bright sunny days without making your vision too dark. They also provide swimmers with 180 wide field of vision, nose piece adjustments in case you don’t like the initial fit, and my favorite part: the eye sockets molds perfectly into your eyes.
Find out how to adjust nose pieces here:
They also have a wide range of colors that make any swimmer look incredibly stylish (in beast mode is how I like to say it :)) and it just makes swimming that much more fun!
If you want to be the coolest person at the pool, in practice, or at a swim meet, these goggles are perfect for you.
Pros
Anti fog
UV Protection
Three Nose Piece Options
Panoramic Vision
Latex Free
Hypoallergenic Seals: mold to the face for best fitting
Cons
May hurt around eyes for a short period before seal properly molds to face
Speedo Vanquisher 2.0
These goggles are perfect for people who have sensitive skin around the eyes. The versatile goggles provide a cushioned silicone seal that sits perfectly on (almost) anybody’s face, giving a very cozy feel. They also come with four adjustable nose pieces just in case the goggles don’t fit right the first time.

There are also a great variety of colors, and tints which is ideal for outdoor use. The only downside is that these goggles can get very dark indoors, creating tunnel vision, once the anti-fog starts to wear off. To avoid this, the clear vanquisher goggles are a great choice for crystal clear vision indoors…
or you could always grab a pair of Speed Sockets instead 🙂
Pros
Anti-Fog
UV Protection
Mirrored Lens
Cushioned Silicone Seals
Four Nosepiece Options
Cons
Lenses can get very dark if worn indoors
Final Takeaway
Everyone is different and will have their own personal preference when it comes to choosing the right pair of goggles that suit them. My recommendation is to get your kids to try different options before making a final decision.
